skype blog

Check out the following blog exploring the use of Skype in the classroom!

Skype is an free online service that enables virtual interviews! It is an excellent resource to use in a rural or remote location in order to link the classroom to the wider community and requires very little digital resources to implement.  Suggestions on the blog include remote learning, virtual interview, virtual field trips and author reading sessions!

The ACARA Technologies curriculum draft places heavy emphasis on the development of student ability to engage in online collaboration.  Skype provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in virtual collaboration with students, teachers and professionals in the wider community.
